The indoor heated swimming pool offers a refreshing dip, perfect for relaxing after a day out. The diverse dining options cater to local tastes, creating a unique culinary experience. I appreciated the proximity to picturesque woodland paths, leading to a serene and enjoyable escape for walks.
In the double room, the wardrobe's design left much to be desired—only half the depth of a standard wardrobe with limited hanging space made it a struggle even for a short stay. The bathroom had a leaky cold water tap and a chipped bath, which didn't quite feel up to par. A dusty bookshelf and worn towels added to the sense of neglect. I found the breakfast experience less than ideal. the teapot and tea strainer lacked cleanliness. A few small updates around the hotel would really make a difference in comfort and appeal.

Had a fantastic getaway with my friends! We enjoyed lovely walks in the beautiful gardens and dined at a superb restaurant. The indoor pool looked inviting, and the rooms were spacious and clean. Definitely check out the orchard rooms.
We did encounter a downside with portion sizes during dinner—my steak was disappointingly small for the price. The staff seemed indifferent when I raised the issue, which left a bitter taste after an otherwise enjoyable stay.

Lovely stay with great staff!
Spent 2 nights in a cute lodge. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was really good, and we also tried afternoon tea, which was a highlight. Just wish the WiFi was a bit stronger, that would’ve made it perfect.

Great location and lovely scenery!
I really enjoyed my stay! The gardens are stunning, and it's just a short walk to the beach. The restaurant food was tasty, especially the puddings. But the breakfast options were pretty lackluster, didn’t feel very fresh. it was a great getaway, just expected a bit more for the price.

Cleanliness issues in room corners!!! Inconsistent water pressure in showers could certainly lead to discomfort!!!

More accessible seating areas would be beneficial.

Lovely stay in a unique room
Had a night in a super spacious suite that was so quirky! Loved having a separate snug space to chill and the freestanding bath was a nice touch. The vibe in the public areas was friendly and cozy. Food at dinner was decent, but service could’ve been a bit quicker at times. But the bar area was a great hangout.

The dinner with fun tapas style at the sundown venue was a delightful experience, and breakfast was lovely too! I enjoyed relaxing by the heated swimming pool and appreciated the garden area for some downtime. One minor downside was that some towels looked a bit worn, but it didn't spoil our time. 🌟

Outstanding breakfast and helpful staff
I had a wonderful stay in a family room with garden view, where the breakfast was a true highlight, featuring a delicious Full English and fresh pancakes. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, especially with the kids. they even arranged a private pool session for our family, which was a fantastic bonus. I think the play equipment could be improved to better suit younger children.
